Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Spirulina platensis Terhadap Penurunan Kadar Serum SGPT Tikus Putih Jantan Galur Wistar yang Diinduksi Parasetamol Dosis Tinggi

Abstract
Latar Belakang : Hepatotoksisitas akibat obat merupakan cedera hati yang dapat dipicu karena penggunaan parasetamol dosis tinggi. Metabolisme parasetamol menghasilkan metabolit reaktif NAPQI yang menciptakan kondisi stres oksidatif di hati. Spirulina platensis mengandung fikosianin yang berperan sebagai antioksidan sehingga mampu mengurangi pembentukan radikal bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak Spirulina platensis terhadap penurunan kadar SGPT tikus putih jantan galur Wistar yang diinduksi parasetamol dosis tinggi.
Metode : Studi laboratorium eksperimental dengan desain post test only control group pada total 24 tikus yang dibagi kedalam 3 kelompok: (1) Kelompok K(-) diberi makanan standar selama 10 hari; (2) Kelompok K(+) diberi parasetamol dosis 1250mg/kgBB di hari kedelapan; (3) Kelompok perlakuan diberi ekstrak Spirulina platensis dosis 360mg/kgBB selama 10 hari serta diberi parasetamol dosis 1250mg/kgBB di hari kedelapan. Di hari kesepuluh ketiga kelompok diterminasi dan diambil sampel darah untuk pengukuran SGPT.
Hasil Penelitian : Rerata SGPT pada kelompok K(-) 58,5 m/l, kelompok K(+) 84,8 m/l, dan kelompok perlakuan 70,7 m/l. Didapatkan perbedaan rerata kadar SGPT kelompok K(+) dan kelompok perlakuan pada p=0,082.
Kesimpulan : Pemberian ekstrak alga hijau biru (Spirulina platensis) sebagai antioksidan dengan dosis 360mg/kgBB/hari selama 10 hari memperbaiki fungsi hepar khususnya dalam menurunkan kadar serum SGPT tikus putih jantan galur Wistar yang diinduksi parasetamol dosis tinggi dengan hasil signifikansi 0,082 (p>0,05).
